    Happy New Year!

    /

I read a meme this week that said: My new year starts on Feb 1st because my January still had some 2021 in it. And I kind of felt that. Not that my January was bad, but it was a very reflective month for me. I decided that resolutions aren’t for me, and if you want to read why, feel free to here, but I had a lot of life admin to sort and some things I needed to reflect on to know how to proceed. Happy New Year! Mum Life A lot has happened since I last wrote. We now have an almost 17month old, who is her own…

I Love My Job, Now I’m On Maternity

    /

I love my job and passed probation! Now, I’m very aware that the majority of my blogs have been all about pregnancy/mum life recently and haven’t really updated on the career side of things so I thought I’d finally give you all a little update now. And because I went into labour the week I went on maternity leave, this update is a lot later than planned. As you know I was offered a job as Admin & Communications Lead for the local church that’s on the same new build complex we moved to at the beginning of last year which is perfect for me as I embarked on my journey into…

    God’s Time Is The Best

    /

God’s time really is the best time. It’s crazy how, when you clear out space in your life and get rid of all the negatives or things that were dragging you down, God (or the universe or whatever it is you believe in) brings so many positives to your table. the last couple of weeks were the weirdest and greatest weeks I’ve had for a while. There I was just plodding along, enjoying my time in lockdown, learning how to work on things that bring me joy (blogging and coding) and then BAM, work opportunities come and slap me in the face! Opportunity 1: I saw this job ad for…

    The Saturn Return

    /

I’m not a massive believer in astrology, though horoscopes have always intrigued me, but I definitely believe in the Saturn Return. Everyone I know at or approaching 30, says they feel like there’s been a massive shift in their life. Believers in astrology or not, it does seem like this time, around the age of 30 is critical; people are more self-aware, righting past wrongs, facing their fears, settling down and finding or redefining their career path. There must be some truth to this astrological cycle. What Is The Saturn Return? In astrology, the Saturn Return occurs when Saturn returns to the same place in the sky that it occupied at the moment of a…
